Tochoco - Chocolate Puffed Rice Bar (Japan) The red metallic wrapper gave me a hint that this wasn't going to be a great candy bar. The packaging reminded me of the low- quality chocolates that can be found in a neighborhood pharmacy. While many candy bars have crispy rice, malt puffs, or corn flakes, this chocolate bar was loaded with puffed rice. A mild waxy milk chocolate was mixed densely with the puffed rice, which made up more than 75% of the treat. This candy bar would have tasted much better if it was made with good dark chocolate. |
