Morinaga's - Kurogoma Caramel (Japan) I purchased the Morinaga's Kurogoma Caramel, packaged along with the milk and Kokutou caramels, before I left Tokyo at Narita airport. The Kurogoma caramel is a sesame seed caramel, and is smooth and soft like the standard milk caramel. The caramel has an unusual gray color and a subtle flavor upon initial taste. However, after a bit of chewing, the candy leaves a heavy sesame aftertaste. I typically enjoy caramels and sesame flavored candy, but I'm a bit scared of gray colored food (this is from the black sesame). Company website: www.morinaga.co.jp |
