MochiCream (Japan) While lost at Tokyo's Shinjuku station, I passed by MochiCream. I was quickly lured into the cool sweet shoppe by the colorful round treats that lined the display cabinets. I had a hunch these frozen treats were made with rice or mochi. like many snacks in Japan. The easy to read menu included choices like caramel mocchiato, melon, and rum raisin. I tried the chocolate banana and the white chocolate, and both were amazing. The included instructions (pictured), were in Japanese and directed to wait about 15 minutes prior to eating. I didn't get the instructions translated until much later in the day, and I didn't wait more than a minute to eat these. MochiCream is a must-get treat while in Japan. |
