Mochi Cookie (Japan) By the time I ate the Mochi Cookie, I had eaten all other mochi snacks that I returned with from Japan, which included the Mochi Choco, Mochitto Choco, and even the fresh frozen MochiCream. The Mochi Cookie was up against some tough competition if it was to impress. Even though I knew this was a mochi cookie, I was expecting a creme or marshmallow center based on the picture of the product on the wrapper. A chocolaty cake outside covered a gummy inner filling, which was similar to the filling of the Mochi Choco. Oddly enough, the chocolate cake-like outside reminded me of the Sacher-Torte I had in Vienna. Like other mochi snacks this filling also reminded me of a gummy bear, but this time encased in chocolate cake. |
