Kabaya - Banana Hazelnut Sundae Candy (Japan) About the size of a small peanut butter cup, this milk chocolate covered candy is supposed to taste like a banana hazelnut sundae (as shown on the packaging). The inside filling includes a banana creme, along with a caramel layer, and then topped with a layer of hazelnut crunch. The banana creme was very firm, and while I couldn't notice the caramel layer, I could taste the small amount of hazelnut crunch. I generally like banana flavored candy, but this had an odd and overwhelming liquor flavor, most likely from the banana creme filling. Company website: www.kabaya.co.jp |
