Baby Ruth in Caddyshack (1980) Appearing in 1980, this may be one of the earliest appearances of a brand name candy bar in a feature film. In the movie Caddyshack, the Baby Ruth is used as part of a prank and mistaken by swimmers as fecal matter in the infamous swimming pool scene. This scene is not surprisingly based on a true story.
